Canada Work Permit from Qatar
A foreign national can live and work here with the help of this visa.
Types:
Following are the types of CWP -
- Open Work Permit (enables one to work for any Canadian business)
- Employer Specific Work Permit (allows one to solely work for a certain employer)
Stages Involved
Stage 1: Employer submits a LMIA request
Before recruiting a non-Canadian employee, a Canadian employer is required to get an LMIA. This certification attests that the employer tried numerous times to identify the best applicant for the position but was unable in doing so.
Stage 2: Temporary Job Offer Extended by Employer
The employer provides the candidate with a copy of the positive LMIA, as well as a detailed job offer letter.
- Job title
- Description of job
- Temporary position’s requirements
- Start & end dates details
- Salary specifications
- Employer name & address
The job offer will be verified as legitimate and true by Canada Service Agency. Future workers of the organisation will be given employment authorization to work in Canada once the Canadian Immigration Department (CIC) has verified the job offer with an LMIA. Once the LMIA has been approved, the Canadian business may make the foreign skilled worker a temporary job offer.
Stage 3: Applicants seeking as foreign workers
Candidate will apply for a Canada Temporary Work Permit after receiving the aforementioned LMIA and job offer. The position's requirements are different. In order to apply for a visa, you often need a formal job offer from the employer, documentation of a successful LMIA, a diploma, or proof of work experience, as well as evidence of your immigration status in the nation from where you are applying. It might also be essential to undergo a criminal background check or medical screening.
To apply for a Canadian visa, you can submit your application and required documents in person or via email to the Canadian visa office responsible for processing applications from your country or region. It's important to include the correct application fee and all necessary materials, as incomplete applications will be returned. Be sure to fulfil all requirements before submitting your application.
Verify the duration of the visa processing. Depending on where you are applying from, processing times for work visas may change. The application process might go more quickly if all necessary materials are submitted with it.
Any changes to your address, name, marital status, or place of residence should be reported to the Canadian visa office. If the authorities are not informed of any modifications, the application procedure may be delayed.
Stage 4: Work Permit is issued
