Quebec Skilled Workers Program (QSWP)
The Quebec Skilled Worker Program (QSWP), created by the governments of Quebec and Canada, authorises qualified workers from other countries who have received advanced education and training to immigrate to Quebec. A selection grid of criteria is used to evaluate potential immigrants who apply to the Skilled Worker Quebec Program. Those who receive sufficient points get awarded a Quebec Selection Certificate (CSQ), which they can use to qualify for CSR.

Validity
From the date of submission, your expression of interest is valid for 12 months (one year).

You won't be able to extend or renew it, but if you'd like, you can submit another one for free. To your new declaration, the data you provided in your initial statement of interest will be duplicated.
Additionally, you have the right to revoke your interest at any moment.

How to complete your expression of interest
You need to register on the Arrima portal if you want to immigrate to Quebec through the Regular Skilled Worker Program.
After that, you can finish and send in your expression of interest form.
You have 90 days to complete and file your expression of interest starting on the creation date. Your form will be removed following this deadline.
Accept to be connected to an employer
You can agree that Québec businesses can search the Portail employeurs (Employer portal) and see your profile.
Communications on Arrima
Every time a communication is filed in your Arrima message center, you'll get an email notification.
Permanent selection application invitation -
Your expression of interest will be saved in the bank for expressions of interest once you have submitted it on Arrima.
People with profiles that fit Québec's demands and who exhibit strong integration potential are asked to submit permanent selection application.
If you accept, a message including the instructions on how to get the form & submit a permanent selection application will be delivered to your Arrima message centre.
Your permanent selection application could be requested at any moment. It is crucial to update your statement of interest frequently.
Your invitation might be revoked if you declare the interest but give false information.

Other criteria
Additionally, specific invitations may be sent on factors like:
- The Quebec destination area;
- A ministerial order that is published in the Quebec Official Gazette establishes the conditions.
- Profession practised.

Each criterion is scorable. People can then be categorised using these traits in the expression of interest bank. Hence, individuals may be invited, particularly based on their performance.
Applying for permanent selection in the Regular Skilled Worker Program
The permanent selection application form must be completed and submitted once you've been invited.
The private information needed to access the form will be sent to your Arrima message centre.
You have a maximum of 60 days from the date of the invite to submit your application and pay the processing charges.
Your application will no longer be accepted after this period has passed.
Processing of your permanent selection application
Your permanent selection application will start to be processed once you have:
- Filled out and signed the permanent selection application;
- Filled out the form and returned it within the deadline;
- Delivering the required files in the required format,
- Pay the application processing costs.
